Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque held the closing ceremony of the operational plan for the 1446 AH Hajj season at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce. In his speech, the President of the Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, emphasized that the Kingdom has set an exemplary global standard for managing the Hajj season. He highlighted the dedicated efforts and continuous oversight of the wise leadership in directly supervising Hajj operations and serving both the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, as well as their visitors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the 1446 AH Hajj season, the presidency's initiatives and programs benefited over four million pilgrims. More than 3,000 Quranic circles were held across the two holy mosques, and approximately one million copies of the Holy Quran and translated religious books were distributed. Additionally, around 170,000 gifts, including prayer rugs and umbrellas, were handed out.
