Doha: The Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Joint Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit was convened in Doha, State of Qatar, under the leadership of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The meeting aimed to address the Israeli attack on Qatar.
According to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, this Emergency Summit signifies Arab and Islamic nations' solidarity with Qatar and aims to form a unified stance against the aggression, which poses a threat to regional security and stability.
The meeting included the participation of Foreign Ministers from Arab and Islamic countries, alongside the Secretaries-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States (LAS). Discussions focused on drafting a resolution to be presented at the Joint Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit, set to occur tomorrow, for approval.
