Shukri from Serail: We are forming base for lebanese understanding

PM Tammam Salam on Tuesday received at the Grand Serail Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Sameh Shukri, who reassured that his country was seeking to establish a basic ground in favor of achieving understanding among local sides so as to help reach an exit to the Lebanese crisis.

“The aim of visiting Lebanon is to confirm Egypt’s concern for the Lebanese case and to strengthen the Lebanese Egyptian ties. Accordingly, we are trying to communicate with all Lebanese political constituents in favor of finding an exit,” said Shukri.

Separately, Salam received Public Health Minister, Wael Abu Faour, and discussed with him recent political developments.

Later on, Salam received Tunisian Deputy House Speaker, Sheikh Abdul Fattah Mourou, and discussed with him the Lebanese and Arab situation.
