Director of Rowad 2030 program Ghada Khalil on Friday 20/11/2020 announced that the first report on entrepreneurship indicators in Egypt will be released at the end of 2020.
The report addresses some key indicators, including the large number of start-ups, that received total funding of EGP 3 billion in the last ten years, as well as the significant increase in the number of companies that attract foreign investments each year.
Speaking in the first day of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, Khalil revealed that Egypt acquired around 25% of funding rounds in the Middle East and North Africa in 2019.
She said that the report covers indicators that matter decision-makers, entrepreneurs and entities working in the field of entrepreneurship.
Rowad 2030 program is based on three main axes, notably education and business incubators, Khalil added.
Some nine business incubators on tourism, artificial intelligence and other fields have been established, she noted.
