Pilgrims Sponsored by Martyrs Fund Stand on Sacred Plain of Arafat

General

Mecca: Pilgrims sponsored by the Martyrs Fund stood on the sacred plain of Arafat today, one of the holiest days of the Islamic calendar, immersed in deeply spiritual moments filled with tears, prayers, remembrance, and hope for forgiveness and mercy. The pilgrims arrived at their designated camp amid a fully integrated system of services arranged by the fund, enabling them to focus entirely on performing their rituals with ease and tranquility.

According to Saudi Press Agency, after attentively listening to the Arafat sermon, the pilgrims performed the combined and shortened Dhuhr and Asr prayers, then remained in humble supplication, turning to Allah in devotion, prayer, and the hope of acceptance and forgiveness.

Ali Mohammed, one of the fund's beneficiaries, praised the efforts made to facilitate and organize this year's Hajj, thanking Allah for granting pilgrims the opportunity to stand on Arafat and pray for their loved ones. He prayed that Allah accept everyone's deeds and forgive their sins.

At sunset, the pilgrims proceeded to Muzdalifah, where they performed the combined and shortened Maghrib and Isha prayers and collected pebbles for the ritual stoning. They will spend the night there until the morning of Dhu al-Hijjah 10 before moving on to Mina to stone the Jamrat Al-Aqabah, shave or trim their hair, and begin their partial release from the state of Ihram. Full release follows after performing the Tawaf Al-Ifadah and Sa'i.
