Riyadh: The Philippine Culture Days, organized by the Ministry of Media in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority, continue to present a wide range of folk and artistic performances from various regions of the country, with the participation of more than 70 performers who showcase the richness and diversity of the Filipino identity amid a remarkable turnout of visitors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the second day of the event, held at Al-Suwaidi Park-one of Riyadh Season 2025's zones-witnessed strong interaction from visitors of different nationalities residing in the Kingdom, who were keen to enjoy traditional artistic performances and learn about key aspects of Filipino culture, including music, traditional dances, handicrafts, and more.
The participating pavilions offered visitors an in-depth look into Filipino life through traditional and modern fashion shows, displays of handicrafts, shellcraft, and textile production, as well as presentations on inherited customs and traditions.
The dining area provided visitors with the opportunity to explore and taste well-known Filipino dishes within a designated food and caf© zone with a capacity exceeding 5,000.
The event stage featured live musical and performance shows by a select group of Filipino artists, contributing to a festive atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Filipino culture and its creative diversity.
The Global Harmony events aim to highlight aspects of the cultures embraced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through 14 world cultures, reflecting harmony and cohesion with Saudi society, and showcasing the efforts of the government and private sectors to enhance the quality of life in Saudi cities.
