Philippine Ambassador Visits Filipino Twins in Saudi Arabia, Commends Medical Care

Riyadh: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Raymond Balatbat yesterday visited Filipino twins Klea and Maurice Ann, and Olivia and Gianna at King Abdullah Specialized Children's Hospital at King Abdulaziz Medical City, affiliated with the Ministry of National Guard in Riyadh, to check on their health and follow up on their recovery after undergoing two complex separation surgeries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the Philippine ambassador was briefed on the twins' health conditions, met with their families and the medical teams overseeing their treatment plans and stages, and listened to an explanation of their conditions. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), praising the advanced medical care and efforts provided to the twins by the specialized medical and surgical team of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program. He wished the twins a speedy recovery and continued health and well-being.
