Malham: On the 20th night of this year's Saudi Falcons Club Auction, held at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, a peregrine falcon was sold for SAR62,000. The auction concludes Friday. According to Saudi Press Agency, the bidding for the falcon started at SAR30,000 and quickly heated up, ultimately reaching SAR62,000. The Saudi Falcons Club offers falcon owners a comprehensive range of services throughout the auction period. It provides accommodation and transportation for falconers and broadcasts auctions on television and social-media platforms. As the Kingdom's largest official falcon auction, the event aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting the cultural, civilizational, and economic heritage of falconry. The club aims to elevate the standards of falcon auctions globally, regulate the buying and selling process, and preserve endangered falcon breeds.
