Riyadh: The General Directorate of Passports has made 12,711 administrative decisions through its regional committees during Dhu Al-Qidah 1446 AH, targeting violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations. These decisions have resulted in penalties including imprisonment, financial fines, or deportation.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Passports Directorate has emphasized the importance of compliance and has urged citizens, residents, business owners, and individuals to avoid engaging in activities that support or conceal violators of residency, labor, or border security regulations. Authorities have also encouraged the public to report any violations by contacting 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions across the Kingdom.
