Partly Cloudy Skies and Thunderstorms Expected in Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Weather conditions across Saudi Arabia are set to vary with partly cloudy skies and the possibility of thunderstorms in several regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that the highlands of Jazan and Aseer regions will experience partly cloudy skies along with thunderclouds and gusty winds. Additionally, there is a chance of fog forming during the night and early morning in these areas, as well as parts of the Eastern Region.

Moderate to heavy thunderstorms are expected to occur in parts of the Tabuk Region, which may lead to flash floods and be accompanied by hail. Furthermore, the weather over the Red Sea will witness southeasterly to southerly winds in the northern part at speeds ranging from 15 to 45 km/h. The sea will be calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to more than two meters.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northeasterly winds will prevail in the southern part, with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h. Similar to the Red Sea, the sea conditions will range from calm to choppy, with waves reaching from half a meter to more than two meters.
