Riyadh: President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas and his accompanying delegation left Riyadh today after having participated in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit. He was seen off at King Khalid International Airport by Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mazen Ghoneim and several other officials. According to Saudi Press Agency, the participation of President Abbas in the summit underscored the importance of the discussions held among Arab and Islamic leaders regarding pressing regional issues.
