Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received the Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, and his accompanying delegation from the Kingdom's public and private sectors yesterday at his office in Islamabad during his official visit to Pakistan. The Pakistani prime minister expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their unwavering and constant support of Pakistan and for reinforcing and deepening bilateral cooperation relations. He also praised the depth of the fraternal and historical bonds that unite the two brotherly countries. He also expressed satisfaction with the fruitful discussions held between the two sides at the Saudi-Pakistani Business Forum, inviting the Saudi side to invest in the aviation sector in Pakistan. He stated that the Saudi-Pakistani business community's dialogue has facilitated the development of new investments, emphasising that the vis it is a significant event in expanding and diversifying economic relations and investment between the two countries. The minister of investment reiterated the Kingdom's determination and commitment to promote investment in Pakistan in a number of vital fields, especially agriculture, minerals, mining, food security and infrastructure.
