Jeddah: Jeddah Corniche Circuit has become a global icon for hosting major motorsport events and embodying the development goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 in the sports sector, particularly in supporting clean energy, sustainability, and technology.
According to Saudi Press Agency, since its inauguration at the end of 2021, the circuit has been a prime destination not only for drivers and motorsport enthusiasts but also for professionals in the media industry. The Formula E 2025 Jeddah E-Prix was the latest event hosted at Jeddah Corniche Circuit on February 14-15, with the participation of 11 teams and 22 drivers. The race received extensive local and international media coverage, especially with the debut of the new generation of Formula E cars, which feature enhanced performance and specifications distinct from previous models.
More than 86 local media professionals covered the 2025 Jeddah E-Prix, delivering the latest news and updates. The event was broadcast on eight television channels, three radio stations, and covered by 16 print and online newspapers, ensuring audiences were fully immersed in the action. The race also garnered considerable international media attention, with 26 broadcasting channels and coverage by 116 media professionals, including 50 journalists, 48 photographers, and 26 newspapers and news websites.
The extensive media coverage highlighted the 2025 Jeddah E-Prix as a milestone, being the seventh Formula E race held in Saudi Arabia and the first at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. With a distinctive crowd filling the circuit, the race added another chapter to the legacy of the world’s fastest street circuit, boosting its place in motorsports history.
