Jeddah: As part of its awareness campaign for the 1446 AH Hajj season, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance branch in Makkah Region has intensified the distribution of educational materials to pilgrims arriving via King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah Islamic Port.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign began on the first day of Dhu al-Qi'dah, with participation from the mosque affairs department staff in Jeddah. Distribution points include the Hajj Terminal, North Terminal, Terminal 1 at the airport, and arrival areas at Jeddah Islamic Port. The campaign continues in parallel with the arrival of pilgrims until the final Hajj flight.
The materials include booklets and pamphlets in more than 10 languages, authored by senior scholars and aimed at helping pilgrims correctly understand and perform the Hajj rituals. As of Dhu al-Qi'dah 27, a total of 197,404 copies had been distributed-193,220 at King Abdulaziz International Airport and 4,184 at Jeddah Islamic Port. Distribution is ongoing according to a structured schedule covering all incoming flights.
These efforts reflect the ministry's commitment to promoting religious awareness, reinforcing moderation, and serving pilgrims in a way that reflects Saudi Arabia's mission to provide outstanding care for pilgrims.
