Mecca: Over 1,100 scout leaders and members from the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are actively participating in public service camps at the Two Holy Mosques throughout Ramadan. The initiative aims to support Umrah performers, worshippers, and fasting visitors, operating in coordination with relevant authorities. According to Saudi Press Agency, the responsibilities of the scout teams include offering guidance, orientation, and crowd management services. They also assist the elderly and people with disabilities while providing humanitarian and on-site support at designated locations within the Two Holy Mosques. The scouts have undergone intensive training and preparation programs, enhancing their readiness and performance to align with the association's standards of quality and governance. This reflects their commitment to leadership and excellence in organized volunteer work. The association highlighted that these camps operate under a unified institutional framework, integrating all scouting sectors. This is achieved by following clear operational plans and precise organizational structures, which standardize procedures, enhance performance efficiency, and maximize the positive impact of services. This effort aligns with the Kingdom's leadership vision to care for visitors of the Two Holy Mosques and facilitate their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
