Riyadh: Over 1.6 million male and female students across all educational levels in Riyadh Region will return to schools tomorrow, Sunday, marking the start of the new academic year 1448-1449 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Administration of Education in Riyadh has confirmed that schools across the region are fully prepared. They have mobilized all necessary human, technical, and maintenance resources through dedicated field committees to ensure a seamless and organized start to the school calendar.
The Administration has also announced the approved daily school schedules for the academic year. During the summer, the morning assembly will begin at 6:15 a.m., followed by the first period at 6:30 a.m. In the winter, the assembly will start at 6:45 a.m., with classes commencing at 7:00 a.m. During the holy month of Ramadan, classes will begin at 9:00 a.m.
