Rabie said that the authority was keen, upon the directives of president Sisi, to modernize its fleet through an integrated program running in line with international standards.
He said the fleet includes four modern towing vessels with a towing strength power of 70 tons and two others with a towing strength of eight tons built by the engineers and technicians of the Port Said shipyard.
He added that the authority contributes to the health insurance system through helping hospitals and medical units in the canal governorates.
