General

Arafat: The humanitarian efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation-implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance-continue to provide the highest levels of care for the elderly, people with disabilities, and those with chronic illnesses. These efforts include comprehensive field services which accompany guests throughout their journey within the holy sites, ensuring their comfort and well-being at every step.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this care is exemplified by the dedicated efforts of field teams and volunteers who assist elderly and disabled pilgrims by providing wheelchair support, suitable transportation, and health and educational services within the camps.

The ministry has established fully equipped medical clinics staffed with specialized personnel and outfitted with all necessary tools and equipment. In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, ambulances have been allocated to handle emergency cases, ensuring the provision of high-quality medical, health, and advisory services around the clock. Additionally, translation teams fluent in several international languages have been made available to assist the program's guests, helping non-Arabic-speaking pilgrims perform their rituals with greater ease and confidence.
