Riyadh: As part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability and enhance energy efficiency, the Oil Sustainability Program has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Alternative Energy Solutions Limited company. The agreement aims to develop innovative technologies for mobile power generation, focusing on reducing emissions and increasing market readiness for adopting sustainable energy solutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the cooperation agreement outlines joint efforts to identify promising opportunities and projects that expand access to new energy markets. It also emphasizes collaborative research and development to curb greenhouse gas emissions, including carbon dioxide, by advancing cutting-edge carbon reduction technologies and facilitating their transfer to Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the MoU seeks to enhance knowledge exchange at both local and international levels to drive innovation and achieve sustainability goals.
