Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha has condemned Israel's attempts to undermine the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) as a violation of the UN Charter and resolutions. In letters to the UN Security Council's permanent members, the UN secretary-general, and the presidents of the Security Council and General Assembly, Taha highlighted UNRWA's crucial role in providing essential services to Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and particularly in Gaza. The OIC secretary-general urged international pressure on Israel to cease its actions against UNRWA. Source: Saudi Press Agency
