OIC Secretary General Engages with Thai Delegation on Collaborative Efforts


Jeddah: Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, received a high-level delegation from Thailand on Sunday. The meeting was a platform for discussing mutual cooperation and strengthening ties between the two entities.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation comprised representatives from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC), and the National Security Council. The presence of these key figures underlined the importance Thailand places on its relationship with the OIC.



During the discussions, Taha expressed his appreciation for the ongoing and constructive collaboration between the OIC and Thailand. He provided insights into the OIC’s objectives and priorities, focusing on its commitment to support minorities and Muslim communities in non-OIC member states. The meeting underscored the shared interest in fostering peace and cooperation in areas of mutual concern.
