Madinah: Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha expressed solidarity with the government and people of Indonesia following the devastating floods that affected the island of Sumatra, causing significant loss of life and widespread displacement. Taha extended his condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and wished for a swift recovery for the injured.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Taha called on OIC member states, humanitarian and financial institutions, and international partners to expedite the delivery of essential humanitarian assistance to those affected and displaced.
