Jeddah: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, strongly condemned the attacks by Iranian-backed militias launched from Iraqi territory against Saudi Arabia. Taha described these actions as a direct violation of international law and a significant escalation threatening regional security and stability.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Secretary-General emphasized the organization's solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He reiterated support for the measures the Kingdom is taking to protect its sovereignty and maintain its security and territorial integrity.
