Istanbul: The Director-General of the Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Mohammed Abdrabuh Al-Yami, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for its decision issued during the 51st session in Istanbul, in which it commended the role of UNA and urged member states to support its progress.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Al-Yami highlighted that this recognition serves as a significant incentive to continue the media mission aimed at serving the Islamic nation and its just causes. He emphasized that the praise from the Council is not merely an acknowledgment of past efforts but a motivating force to further the Union's objectives.
Al-Yami extended his thanks to the Council of Foreign Ministers for their valuable appreciation and expressed his gratitude towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its steadfast support of the Union. He also acknowledged Qatar for its commitment to fulfilling its financial contributions. Al-Yami noted that the invitation by the Council of Foreign Ministers to member states to actively participate in the Union's activities and to ensure timely contributions is vital for the sustainability of the Union’s work.
