Riyadh: A delegation from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) concluded their visit to the Education and Training Evaluation Commission's (ETEC) headquarters to exchange expertise and discuss technical aspects of learning outcomes assessment frameworks and school evaluation within the Kingdom's general education. The visit is part of the ongoing technical cooperation between ETEC and OECD.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the OECD team commended ETEC's organizational development and its achievements in evaluating general education, recognizing its significant and comprehensive progress made despite the vast scale of Saudi Arabia's education system.
Head of the OECD expert team and former Chief Inspector at the Department of Education in Ireland (2010-2020), Dr. Harold Hislop, praised the scale and speed of Saudi Arabia's progress.
He emphasized that the new school evaluation system established by ETEC is a remarkable achievement in the education sector.
