Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) has completed its operational preparations for the holy month of Ramadan 1447, planning to distribute approximately 11 million cubic meters of water daily across all regions and cities of the Kingdom. The goal is to provide the largest possible amount of water to regional residents and visitors during Ramadan, which typically sees a significant increase in water demand, while improving the reliability and continuity of pumping, and ensuring the sustainability of water supply, enhancing the quality of life and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the company stated in a recent press release that it had prepared an operational plan for water management and distribution to ensure continued delivery of optimal service. This plan includes staffing operations centers with personnel who will work continuously to serve customers and meet their needs. This year's Ramadan plan also includes allocating operation and maintenance teams equipped with modern equipment and machinery to handle emergencies and technical malfunctions, as well as equipping filling stations across various cities and governorates in the Kingdom.
According to NWC: "As part of our preparations and full readiness, we are receiving customer requests through our digital channels, namely the National Water app on smartphones, or through the electronic branch (e.nwc.com.sa), in addition to the unified contact number 8004411110 for water services in all regions of the Kingdom, which is available 24 hours a day to receive reports and relaying them to maintenance teams that will ensure timely response."
The company further clarified that coordination with water system partners will continue to ensure the sustainability of supplies during the holy month.
