Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) has announced the completion of extensive water lines and network projects in Riyadh and Diriyah, with a total investment of approximately SAR37 million. This initiative is part of NWC's strategic efforts to enhance the infrastructure of the water and sanitation services sectors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the projects encompass water lines and networks with varying diameters, stretching a combined length of about 132 kilometers across the Laban and Tuwaiq districts, along with other areas in Riyadh and Diriyah governorate. These developments are designed to expand coverage and improve the operational efficiency of the daily water distribution system.
NWC highlighted that these projects are crucial for ensuring water security, accommodating urban growth, and addressing the increasing demand for water services in line with the Kingdom's urban development goals. The company is committed to continuing infrastructure projects at a rapid pace to boost operational efficiency and enhance service quality.
