NWC Completes SAR81 Million Water Lines Replacement in Northern Riyadh

Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) announced the completion of a project that involved replacing water lines in northern Riyadh at a cost exceeding SAR81 million. The project involved replacing water lines totaling over 18,000 meters long to serve Benban Center and Al-Arid District.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project is part of an integrated plan to implement a system of water projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of its lines and networks, expanding coverage areas, and improving the quality of services provided. These projects aim to improve the quality of life and achieve water security amid the comprehensive urban development witnessed by the capital, Riyadh.

The NWC noted that it is continuing its accelerated efforts to implement projects that support the infrastructure of the water and environmental sectors and to develop operational process efficiency to keep pace with the growing demand for water. It affirmed its commitment to achieving its goals with the highest quality standards in project implementation to achieve the desired objectives in light of Saudi Vision 2030.
