Nusuk Delegation Concludes Visit to Jordan

The delegation of “Nusuk”, the unified government platform of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today concluded its introductory visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, headed by Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Chairman of Pilgrim Experience Program Committee Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah comprising senior officials of the Saudi Tourism Authority and a number of relevant government agencies, as well as 300 partners from the private sector.

 

The visit comes within Nusuk’s regional and global meetings to build bridges of communication with the Islamic world, designed to introduce the distinguished services and unprecedented facilities to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers, communicate with officials to discuss ways of cooperation, overcome obstacles and challenges, meet with major travel and Umrah companies, to discuss opportunities and conclude agreements and empowering the private sector.

 

During the visit, many bilateral meetings and dialogue sessions were held that brought together private sector officials from the two countries to get acquainted and discuss cooperation opportunities to provide offers, packages and services that meet the aspirations of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors coming from or through Jordan, and contribute to enriching their religious and cultural experience.

 

The visit highlighted the latest developments in issuing multiple entry visas to Saudi Arabia, allowing the performance of Hajj and Umrah and visiting and touring the Kingdom entering on the relevant Umrah, tourist, transit or family and friends visas.

 

Accordingly, nationals from 57 countries have become eligible to obtain an electronic visa from their home country or upon arrival, namely for residents of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the EU countries or travellers holding visas from the United States, United Kingdom, Schengen countries, and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, (GCC).

 

The Nusuk platform also introduced a large turnout at the exhibition by applying through the official website, www.nusuk.sa, for a package of multiple entry visas to Saudi Arabia.

 

The Nusuk platform was launched by the Saudi Tourism Authority in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, aiming at developing pilgrim experience and facilitating the procedures for their visits to the Kingdom to perform Islamic rituals or enjoy a visit to the religious sites and monuments as well as Saudi Arabia’s historical and tourist landmarks as part of the initiatives and programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
