Northern borders region: The Municipality of Northern Borders Region completed its preparations for Eid Al-Fitr by preparing 24 parks and recreational areas across the region’s cities and governorates, aiming to provide a safe and attractive leisure environment for residents and visitors during the holiday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the preparations included intensive maintenance and general cleaning programs, as well as the maintenance of green spaces, children’s playgrounds, and lighting poles. They included ensuring the readiness of service facilities, such as restrooms and walkways, in a manner that guarantees visitors’ comfort.
The municipality reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the quality of life and improving municipal services, noting that field teams have been assigned to continuously monitor the sites throughout the eid period and to address any observations promptly.
Northern Borders Region Municipality spokesperson Mohammed Sabti stated that the municipality mobilized all its human and mechanical resources to prepare the parks and recreational areas in accordance with integrated operational plans that keep pace with the expected turnout during the eid holiday. He added that regulatory and field teams will work around the clock to ensure the delivery of the best services and achieve the highest standards of safety and comfort for visitors.
The municipality called on the public to preserve public facilities and cooperate with the relevant authorities to help keep the parks in their best condition, in a way that reflects the region’s civilized appearance and ensures optimal enjoyment for all.
