Riyadh: The parks and city beautification department at Northern Borders Region municipality has begun planting more than 1.008 million roses in public squares and gardens across the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project is part of the municipality's ongoing efforts to develop the urban landscape and improve the aesthetic environment in the region's cities. It also supports initiatives aimed at enhancing quality of life, expanding vegetation cover, and adding aesthetic features to public facilities and squares. These efforts contribute to creating a more attractive urban environment for residents and visitors.
The municipality affirmed that planting and afforestation activities will continue in line with its development plans to improve the visual landscape, expand green spaces, and support environmental sustainability goals.
