Aseer: Northern Border University: Northern Border University has surpassed 8,000 published research papers indexed in the Web of Science database, marking a significant milestone in its research trajectory and reinforcing its academic standing locally and internationally.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the university has published a total of 8,037 scientific papers, which have collectively received 68,758 citations, an indicator of both research quality and scholarly impact within the global scientific community.
The university also recorded a 70% increase in research output in 2025 compared to 2024. The number of published papers rose from 1,634 in 2024 to 2,765 in 2025.
