NIDLP Participates in International Transport Logistics in China

Beijing: The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) is taking part in the international Transport Logistics Exhibition held in Shanghai, China, between June 25 and 27, as part of the Saudi pavilion at the fair, which includes 13 entities concerned with transport and logistics services in Saudi Arabia. NIDLP aims to highlight the continuous development of Saudi Arabia's logistics infrastructure in the maritime, air, land, and rail sectors, to raise awareness about the growth in the logistics sector brought about by the Saudi Vision 2030, and to exert more effort to enhance connectivity with local and international markets, and develop the sector by capitalizing on the Kingdom's strategic geographic location. It also aims to have in place regulations that foster an attractive and stimulating investment environment in the sector, which will make Saudi Arabia a global logistics hub. On the first day of the fair, Saudi Global Ports Company and the Chinese company SANY signed the largest s ingle global contract to enhance the capabilities of King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with 80 eco-friendly electric trucks.
