New Museum in Al-Baha Highlights Saudi Educational History

Al-Baha:An educational museum has opened in Al-Aqiq Governorate, located in the Al-Baha Region, featuring a curated collection of artifacts and historical documents that chronicle the development of Saudi Arabia's education sector over several decades.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the museum pays tribute to pioneering educators and their contributions to education. It exhibits rare textbooks from 1371 AH to 1442 AH (1951 to 2020) and includes archival publications, newspapers, and magazines, featuring inaugural issues that highlight the early history of print journalism in the region.

The museum offers visitors the chance to explore dedicated sections that display historical academic records, certificates, and instructional tools. Additionally, there is a replica classroom model that illustrates the transition from traditional learning environments to modern educational settings.
