Gaza: A new humanitarian aid convoy provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) arrived yesterday in the Gaza Strip, carrying winter clothing for children, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the winter clothing is scheduled to be distributed as part of a comprehensive recreational program implemented by the field teams of the implementing partner of KSrelief in the Gaza Strip, the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage. The program combines the distribution of winter clothing with psychological and recreational support for children in displacement camps, helping to relieve their distress and prepare them psychologically to return to school after an interruption of more than two years.
The convoy arrives at a time when children in the Gaza Strip are facing severe challenges due to cold weather, continued displacement, and the loss of homes. This makes the distribution of winter clothing an essential humanitarian need that helps provide essential warmth, upholds human dignity, and eases the burden on families.
This effort extends the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steadfast positions, through KSrelief, in supporting the brotherly Palestinian people during various crises and hardships, embodying its noble values and humanitarian mission.
