Nearly Two Million Visitors to Makkah Miqats Through Mid-Ramadan

Makkah: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites announced updated operational data for the miqats and miqat mosques until mid-Ramadan. The total number of visitors reached 1,855,775, arriving through 291,094 vehicles, alongside continued field inspection tours and the handling of observations recorded at the sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in terms of field monitoring, 3,513 inspection tours were conducted, resulting in 7,667 observations, with no security incidents recorded, reflecting the stability of operations and the regularity of services at the sites.

The total workforce at the locations reached 800 personnel, distributed across the various miqats and mosques, in line with the daily movement volume and to support the smooth delivery of services to visitors.

CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites Eng. Saleh Al-Rasheed stressed that the figures recorded until mid-Ramadan reflect the regularity of field operations at the miqats and mosques and the high operational readiness to handle the increased turnout during the holy month. He noted that the field teams are working according to continuous operational and supervisory plans to ensure smooth movement, the rapid handling of observations, and the stability of the sites.
