Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) today issued a warning of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, causing near-zero horizontal visibility, flash floods, and high waves in several Makkah Region governorates.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the weather conditions are expected to affect the governorates of Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah, Rabigh, Khulays, Al-Kamil, and Bahrah (Al-Shoaiba).
The NCM noted that these weather conditions are forecast to continue until 11 p.m. Residents in the affected areas are advised to exercise caution and heed safety instructions to mitigate potential risks associated with the severe weather.
