Riyadh: The National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC) has been awarded the ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation certificate in environmental inspection by the Saudi Accreditation Center, marking a milestone in aligning with international standards for examination and inspection.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the certification represents a globally recognized benchmark in environmental inspection and control, ensuring that the center’s operations adhere to international best practices. It guarantees efficiency, transparency, and compliance with unified and objective procedures, reinforcing the independence of the inspection process and promoting sustainable environmental compliance.
The accreditation follows a rigorous evaluation process spanning a year and a half, during which the center trained and qualified its staff while implementing precise and transparent reporting systems. This achievement strengthens trust between the center and regulatory authorities and enhances its performance in assessing environmental compliance and safety.
