National Water Company Signs Strategic Tech, Cloud Agreements at LEAP 2026

Riyadh: The National Water Company (NWC) signed two strategic agreements and two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) at the LEAP 2026 conference to accelerate its digital transformation and upgrade its operational infrastructure.

According to Saudi Press Agency, NWC signed an MoU with Etihad Go Telecommunications to develop cloud computing and data center services, focusing on hybrid cloud models and data storage to ensure service continuity. Another MoU with FlyAkeed integrates business travel solutions and booking APIs to streamline administrative processes and increase spending efficiency.

The company finalized an agreement with Google Cloud to build a secure digital infrastructure for the national water sector. A second agreement with Zain Saudi Arabia will deploy an advanced cloud communications system to optimize call management, privacy, and rapid response times.

The company said these strategic partnerships reflect its commitment to building an integrated digital infrastructure, developing innovative technological solutions that support operations, and enhancing the customer experience by providing integrated services, thereby supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to achieve water and environmental sustainability.

NWC stressed that these partnerships reflect its strategic direction to leverage technology and data as key enablers for developing the water and environmental services sectors and increasing operational efficiency, thereby meeting customer expectations and supporting the sector's objectives.
