National Transport Safety Center Hosts Meeting to Enhance Aviation Safety Cooperation in Riyadh

Riyadh: The fourth meeting of the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Group commenced yesterday and is concluding today, hosted by the National Transport Safety Center (NTSC) in Riyadh. This meeting focuses on enhancing regional aviation safety through cooperation, with participation from experts in regional investigation authorities and representatives from various international aviation safety organizations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this meeting supports the Kingdom's efforts to strengthen regional and international cooperation in aviation safety and share expertise in air accident investigations, aiming to improve practices and safety standards within the aviation system.

Participants will help establish a joint regional platform for exchanging safety recommendations, aligning with the Kingdom's goals to become a leading hub for transport safety regionally and internationally.

Attendees, including international experts and representatives from relevant authorities, will review best practices for managing safety recommendations, linking them to institutional capabilities to drive meaningful change in operational culture and safety performance.
