Riyadh: The "Wad" national training campaign, launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, continues to excel as a vital initiative for human capital investment. In its first phase, the campaign surpassed its targets by forming partnerships with public and private sectors and delivering over 1,550,000 training opportunities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this phase featured successful forums in Makkah, Jazan, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions, with over 52 specialized workshops in areas like industry, cybersecurity, and AI, attracting 14 leading private companies.
Launched in December 2024, the second phase aims to expand into six new regions: Najran, Al-Baha, Aseer, Hail, Madinah, and Qassim. Collaborating with over 60 organizations, the campaign targets more than three million training opportunities by 2028 to align with labor market needs.
Recognized with the Sharjah Government Communication Award for Best Campaign Positively Impacting Youth, the campaign exemplifies effective public-private collaboration.
