Nice: National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) President Khalid Al-Fakhri participated in the third United Nations Ocean Conference, held in the city of Nice, France.
According to Saudi Press Agency, NSHR's participation reflects its commitment to enhancing its international presence and contributing to global environmental and human-rights issues, in support of international efforts to ensure the sustainability of natural resources and protect human rights related to the environment.
During the conference, participants discussed the main challenges facing oceans and the marine environment and explored ways to enhance international cooperation to safeguard them, with a particular focus on achieving Goal 14 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
