Makkah: In September 2025, the National Center for Security Operations received 2,805,090 calls through the unified emergency number (911) in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this is part of the mandate of the Unified Security Operations Centers, which manage emergency calls and dispatch them to the relevant security and service authorities using advanced automated systems. The centers are operated by a highly trained, multilingual team working around the clock with precision and professionalism.
The call volumes received were 840,101 in Makkah, 229,724 in Madinah, 1,191,454 in Riyadh, and 543,811 in Eastern Region.
