Riyadh: A recent study by the National Center for Public Opinion Polls involving 1,105 participants reveals that a vast majority of Saudi society prioritizes family during Eid Al-Fitr, with 93% spending Eid morning with either immediate or extended family.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the findings further highlight a deep-rooted commitment to social cohesion, as 88% of respondents prefer traditional gatherings with relatives over travel or external events, underscoring the central role of kinship in the Kingdom's festive culture.
Details include 53% of respondents prefer spending Eid morning with their immediate family, while 40% opt for larger family gatherings. Furthermore, 5% spend the morning at work, 1% prefer to sleep after the Eid prayer, 8% attend local events, 1% visit other cities, and 1% travel internationally.
