Riyadh: The National Center for Strategic Partnerships (NCSP) announced the launch of three specialized national academies during its participation in the Non-Profit Sector in Education and Training Forum. The new academies aim to qualify and develop national competencies in strategic fields, including the cement industry, the non-profit sector, and the tourism and hospitality sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, with these additions, the number of strategic partnership institutes and academies has risen to 45, distributed across 25 cities and governorates, and covering 18 key sectors. The initiative is supported by the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
The launch aligns education and training outcomes with labor market demands and fosters strategic partnerships among the public, private, and non-profit sectors. It also contributes to establishing an effective and sustainable training system that enables national competencies to engage in promising and differentiated fields.
The National Cement Academy was launched through a partnership between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Yanbu Cement Company, with support from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The academy is designed to prepare national cadres for employment in the cement industry through specialized programs covering technical, production, and administrative skills.
The National Academy for the Non-Profit Sector was launched in partnership with the Nomu Foundation to offer professional training programs tailored for employees of charitable organizations, endowment funds, and non-profit companies. These programs aim to enhance institutional excellence and compliance with national regulations, in line with international best practices.
In the tourism and hospitality sector, the National Academy for Culinary and Hospitality was launched in partnership with the Culinary Association. The academy focuses on preparing Saudi talent in culinary arts, restaurant management, and supply chains, supporting the sector's localization efforts and reinforcing its role as a key economic driver.
