Riyadh: The National Center for Security Operations (NCSO) successfully managed 2,682,221 calls via the Unified Emergency Number 911 across the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern in February 2026. The NCSO 911's primary responsibility is to field emergency calls and direct them to appropriate security and service agencies within their respective areas. This process is facilitated by advanced automated systems run by specialized, multilingual personnel, ensuring operations are conducted with precision and professionalism around the clock.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the call distribution for February saw the Makkah Region receiving 833,799 calls, while the Madinah Region had 229,470. The Riyadh Region recorded the highest number of calls with 1,133,070, and the Eastern Region accounted for 485,882 calls. This cumulative effort resulted in a total of 2,682,221 calls managed across the mentioned regions.
