Riyadh: The National Center for Public Opinion Polls (Ra'i), part of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, conducted a public survey on Saudi Arabia's presidency of the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. A total of 881 people participated, with 56% male and 44% female respondents.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the results showed that 37% of participants believe Saudi Arabia's political and media messaging in recent years has strongly supported women. Additionally, 36% of respondents think this reflects global recognition of the significant changes the Kingdom has undergone over the past decade. Meanwhile, 27% expressed that the world is interested in seeing more examples of successful Saudi women across various fields.
When surveyed about the significance of Saudi Arabia being chosen to lead the session, 58% of respondents believe it signals a promising future for women in the Kingdom. The remaining 42% attributed this recognition to the strong skills and capabilities of Saudi women.
