Najran: Governor of Najran Region Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed received Najran University's international students on Monday in observance of International Students' Day and the International Day for Tolerance. The students, representing 58 countries, met with the governor at the principality's headquarters in the presence of President of Najran University Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Khudairi, vice rectors, and other academic leaders.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz highlighted Saudi Arabia's security and stability as well as its commitment to education. He underscored the university's role in fostering an open learning environment that embraces diverse cultures, affirming that hosting international students aligns with the values of tolerance and coexistence that the Kingdom has upheld since its founding.
The students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to study in Saudi Arabia and for the support they receive both at the university and in the wider community. On behalf of the international students, Al-Khudairi presented Prince Jalawi with a commemorative gift to mark the occasion.
