Najran: Najran Municipality has completed extensive preparations of parks, gardens, and recreational facilities across the city in anticipation of welcoming visitors and picnickers during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. The work covered 119 public parks, nine gardens, 26 municipal squares, 41 walking paths, five plazas, and three waterfalls. Beautification and maintenance were also carried out along 58 streets and 12 roads across the city.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the preparations included maintaining and irrigating green spaces, trees, and palm trees in parks, gardens, roads, and public squares. Field teams also serviced fountains, waterfalls, restrooms, children's playgrounds, sports fields, exercise equipment, and decorative lighting, in addition to pruning trees and caring for palm trees.
Several landscaping and rehabilitation projects were implemented, including planting 3,505 trees in various locations, maintaining more than 1.85 million square meters of green spaces, preparing and maintaining 46 fountains and waterfalls, and planting 16,950 seasonal flowers in parks, squares, and major roads.
These efforts are part of the municipality's broader plan to ensure the readiness of public parks and recreational spaces during Eid Al-Fitr, providing a welcoming environment for residents and visitors while enhancing quality of life in Najran.
