Davos: Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa participated yesterday in the main dialogue session at the Davos Forum 2026, focusing on the ethical responsibility of religious leaders in conflicts. He highlighted the pivotal role religious leaders play in supporting the New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the implementation of the Two-State solution, which is co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Issa emphasized that the declaration, which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly with 142 votes, represents a just and wise resolution. He called on religious leaders to genuinely uphold the principle that human life and dignity, including the protection of lives, rights, and legitimate freedoms, are supreme universal values.

Dr. Al-Issa further stressed that no pretext can justify injustice or oppression, warning that remaining silent in the face of such violations is not an act of neutrality. He pointed out that dehumanizing others is the first step toward human catastrophes and contributes to global chaos.
